You can get groceries and lots of other of stuff at Safeway, but I’ll bet you didn’t know that occasionally you might find a friendly feline, too! Fortunately for me, a wonderful lady who works for a veterinarian saw me looking lost and forlorn (and in danger of being hit by one of the tons of cars coming and going), and she took me home with her. She already had six other rescues of her own (that happens a lot when you work for a vet or an animal welfare group!), so she felt that even though I was a real lover, seven would put her “over the top.” Well, that was almost a year ago now, and since I’m still a charmer, I’m wondering why no one has chosen me yet. I’m an eternal optimist though and have high hopes that my special person will show up one of these days. Won’t you PLEASE look my way?
