Hi… my name is Myra.
When I first arrived here two years ago, I was awfully shy and chary of strangers because I’d been left in a trailer for several months after my mom died. It has taken a lot of work on the part of the volunteers, but they have been super nice and have given give me loads of petting, brushing, and socializing, so I’m finally getting back to my original sweet self. I am about 3 years old now, and am a gorgeous, longhaired, glossy black girl with magnetic green eyes. I lived with two other cats for a while in my first home, and of course I’ve been “rooming” with lots of them here, too, so perhaps I’d do okay in a home that already has a cat, or maybe I’d just like to have you all to myself! I promise that with patience and a lot of love, I will make some special person a warm and thankful friend.
