OK, they use “sweet” all the time in the pet biographies, so the volunteers here came up with “lovable, endearing, charming, and gentle” as alternatives – oh yes, IN ADDITION to sweet! I have been here at TALGV for over two years, and I don’t understand why no one ever takes me home. Maybe it’s because I’m not terribly assertive like some of my feline friends, or maybe it’s because there are so many of us here that I “get lost” in the shuffle, or maybe it’s because I’m 11 years old now, but I can assure you I’m still as agile and active as I was when I was “middle aged.” I’m a jet black, neutered gentleman who lived with my beloved “mom” all my life. She had to move to an apartment that didn’t allow pets, so I came here hoping to find a place where I’d never have to worry about being “evicted” again. I did live with another cat, but we didn’t get along very well (she was awfully pushy!), so I would much prefer to be an “only child" as I'm really not an alpha kind of guy and I can get intimidated pretty easily! I think I would be happiest if I could find an older, quiet person or couple to spend my “golden years” with. I mostly enjoy sitting in your lap and having my ears and chin scratched, so if you’re looking for a quiet guy to share your life, I know I’d be the perfect addition.
