Hi…my name is Trill.

When I first came to TALGV back in February, I was in pretty sad shape. I only weighed a bit over 5 pounds (not much for a guy who is about 11 years old – they actually thought I was a kitten at first!), my grey coat was in terrible shape, and I was so badly dehydrated I had trouble swallowing. Since then, with all the wonderful care the volunteers have been giving me, I’ve gained 8 pounds and am now a healthy 13-pound gentleman! After I was here for a short while, they discovered that I have very limited eyesight, so I’ve been living in pretty close quarters so that I don’t get lost “in the crowd.” But, oh boy, when you pick me up, don’t I let you know how happy I am! I am aptly named, because my purr is the most wonderful “trill” and I can serenade you with it for a long time! Although I feel nice and safe here in my little world, my dream is to find my own place (maybe in one of those smaller homes in Green Valley so that I’ll be able to explore and learn my surroundings, but not be overwhelmed by too much space), and a special person who has a heart as big as mine to share the rest of my life with. The folks here at TALGV love me so much and want so badly for me to have the love and attention that I deserve, that they will pay for any extraordinary medical expenses I might have in the future (aside from normal annual checkups and shots, of course!). Won’t you please think about letting me into your life? If you do, your kindness will be repaid ten times over!
