Hi… my name is Abril.
My mom, who was expecting my siblings and me to arrive any day, was rescued from the desert by a lady from Sahuarita. After we were born, we lived with her until we were about 8 weeks old, but the nine of us became way too much for her to handle. Luckily we were able to come to TALGV where the food is plentiful and the attention from the volunteers never ending. I am a charming, mostly black, Shar Pei/terrier mix with a white blaze on my chest, and I’m getting bigger, more outgoing and lovable by the day. As with all the residents here, I’m learning a lot of things that I know will make my new owners happy (like walking on a leash, commands like “sit, stay, and down”), so all I need in the mix is a place of my own and YOU to make my life complete!
