Hi…my name is Colby.
I’m a 3-year-old, Canaan Dog mix (a breed imported from Israel and Canada, sometimes referred to as “dingo”), who had to leave my family because of HOA restrictions. I lived with my people from the time I was only six weeks old, so leaving them was really hard on me. I am a handsome, reddish brown guy who is very curious, intelligent, and eager to please. Besides walking well on a leash, I love to ride in the car. The folks here at TALGV say that I really need a person who is prepared to “be the boss” and to spend time helping me develop my “people skills.” I love affection and to lean against you and get all the attention you’re willing to give, so everyone thinks that I’d do best in an only-dog home. I do know the “sit, stay, and come” commands and am perfectly housebroken, so if you’d like a medium-sized, red “shadow,” then I’d be perfect for you.
