Hi… my name is Dash.
I was adopted from TALGV by my family (mom, dad, three young kids, two cats and another dog!) 18 months ago. I fell head over heels in love with my mom and the kids, but it took me a while to warm up to my dad because I was abused by a man when I was a youngster. Sadly, my family is being deployed and they won’t be able to take all of us along. I am a 4-year-old, tan Boxer mix boy who has tons of good qualities – I know lots of commands, love the dog park, hiking with my people, am extremely loyal and eager to learn (they say that I’d make a great therapy dog!). My family did say very emphatically, “Do NOT take this dog if he can’t be a major part of your life; he thinks he’s a person and always wants to be with his owner.” So come by and meet me – and maybe I can be your next best friend!
