Hi…my name is Diamond…

…and that pretty much sums me up! I am a precious little gem who was found way back in the “wilds” of Sahuarita near Columbus and Dawson Roads on December 20th. I am a brown and white Chihuahua mix girl who is about 5 or 6 years old and my foster mom says that I am the quintessential, sweet, lap dog. I’ve been with her for two weeks now, and since I had a few health issues, she’s really been taking good care of me so I’m getting better all the time. She says that I simply “love love” and people, and become attached to my person really quickly. She thinks I’d do best in a one pet/one person home, as I really like to have you all to myself. I’ve been crate trained at one time, and if you let me outside on a regular basis, I’ll be perfectly housebroken in no time (they think that I’m way too small to have a doggie door because if I’m outside on my own, even in an enclosed yard, there are too many things that might do me harm). I walk beautifully on a leash, and love to spend my time curled up next to you, so if you are looking for a constant companion, I’m the little lady for you!
