Hi…my name is Happy.
You have to be happy that there are people in the Green Valley area who like to walk their dogs in the desert! It was my lucky day when a man was in the Elephant Head area and found me covered in mud. It took him about an hour to coax me into his truck, but once I got in, it was the happiest day of my life. He took me home (I got along fine with his two Rotties) and then he brought me here where they cleaned me up, checked me over (they discovered that my back teeth are missing – but that doesn’t keep me from eating up a storm!), and gave me all the shots I needed to keep me healthy. I am a handsome, black Chow mix male, who was adopted by my foster mom in February, but she now is traveling a lot and doesn’t have enough time to spend with me any more. I am as friendly and people loving and happy as can be, and despite my lack of teeth, they think I’m about 4 or 5 years old, so I’ve got quite a few years ahead of me to make sure my new family knows how much I value them.
