Hi…my name is Lacy.

It’s hard to fathom people sometimes! My first owners were evicted from their home last year and left me behind in the yard with no food, water, or shade. Thankfully, I didn’t have to spend too much time there before I was rescued by a lovely TALGV lady. I went to live with a foster mom for a few days until they could find space for me here, and she said that I was an absolute sweetheart – smart, loving, and obedient – and SO grateful to have been saved. It’s apparent that I’ve had some basic training, because I know lots of commands: out, no, come, sit, down, stay, go lie down, and even a “little bit” of heel! Awhile ago, I thought that I’d found the perfect home, but after a few months, my mom and dad separated and my mom had to go to work, so I was left alone a lot of the time. I REALLY didn’t like that at all (it brought back memories of my first home) so I need a place where my people will be home most of the day. I am a spayed, heeler mix lady who is about 4½ years old now, and I know I’m going be a loving, smart, obedient and constant companion for the right people.
