Hi…my name is Mariah.

There are a lot of beautiful breed and color combinations in dogs these days, and I’m not ashamed to say that I’m one of them! I am a gorgeous brindle shepherd/retriever mix lady who was rescued from Interstate 19 and Sahuarita Road on February 27th. For a pet to be lost anywhere is pretty scary, but to be on a busy Interstate makes it even more harrowing. Suffice it to say, I am REALLY glad to be here at TALGV where I know I’m safe and getting such a warm welcome and lots of attention from the volunteers. I weigh 54 pounds, am about 2 years old, and although I was very frightened when I was first rescued, the volunteer who took me in said that I was very docile and sweet. I know that there will be a home in my future that will make all the bad things that have gone before disappear, so I’m hoping that a special family will come along soon and lay all my fears to rest.
