Hi…my name is Neera.
My whole world has just collapsed around me! My wonderful dad just lost his job, is soon going to lose his house, and has exhausted all his savings, so he has to move out of the state with his six children to be with other family members. Sad to say, he can’t take me (or the other four male dogs with whom I’ve lived almost all my life) with him. I am a gorgeous, 6-½ -year-old, blue brindle, Neapolitan mastiff female (actually I should weigh more than my current 85 pounds – the folks here at TALGV say that I am skin and bones right now, but they are really working on that!). The standard weight for females of my breed is about 110 pounds – all of it loyalty and love. I have been so happy living and playing with “my” kids over the years, and I am hoping to find another dynamic family that I can love and protect. I get along great with male dogs but I’m not at all fond of females, so other than that, I’m a gentle and tolerant lady. I have a few medical problems right now – a bad knee (something people in Green Valley probably know a lot about!) – and a bit of an eye infection, but as soon as they are taken care of, I’ll be ready to find another home where I can show them what a wonderful dog they’ve been missing all these years!
