Hi…my name is Snoopy.

Everyone knows my namesake – well, I’m a lot like him, only bigger, so if you’re a “big dog” person, then I’m just the guy for you! I am an almost 2-year-old, microchipped, 86-pound, Dalmatian/Lab mix (although I need to lose a few pounds, I’ll always be large in dog measurement terms!). My family has to move from their home into a place that has size restrictions on dogs, and sadly, I’m over the limit. I’ve lived with them (a couple, two other dogs, but no kids) all my life (they rescued me from a shelter in Tucson when I was 6 weeks old), and right now I am really missing them an awful lot. I’m  pretty shy at the moment, but I’m sure with all the attention I’ve been getting, I’ll come out of my shell in no time. I am mostly white with endearing black ears and strategically placed spots here and there. Although I know how to use a doggie door, I could still use a refresher course in house manners because I’ve spent a lot of time outside. I love to play tug of war with those floppy pull toys dogs have, and my people say that I’m “healthy as a horse,” so if you’d like a young, vigorous, friend to share the New Year (and the rest of your life) with, then your search has ended!
