Hi…my name is Spot.

Well, I guess if any dog in the world deserves the name Spot, it would be me because one look at my spotted coat and you’ll recognize my Blue Heeler heritage! I am an affectionate, eager-to-please, and energetic 3-year-old girl who has lived with my person (an older man) since he found me two years ago. We all (my dad and four other dogs) got along pretty well for a while, but then one of his other dogs and I had a few territorial problems, so he decided it best if I went to a home where I was the only canine “kid on the block.” I’ve been around children and loved playing with them (I was very gentle and tolerant) and although I haven’t had any formal obedience training (they’re working on that here at TALGV), I’m eager to learn those important “good conduct” things that will make both of us a lot happier in life. I think that it would be wonderful if I could find a home where I’d get lots of attention and could spend more one-on-one time with my family so that my energy had a few more outlets. If you have a life full of activities (outdoor and indoor) that I can participate in, then I think we’ll both find that we were made for each other!
