Hi…my name is Trixie.
Considering that I was found running in the desert by a Sahuarita police officer, I am pretty good shape! I didn’t have any fleas or ticks, my coat was in good condition (it will get even better I’m sure with the yummy food I’m now getting), and I wasn’t dehydrated (yet!). So, all in all, I’m a pretty lucky girl. I’m a 38-pound, 18-month-old (or thereabouts) black and white Boxer, Staffordshire terrier mix, and I have a wonderful personality that completes the whole “package.” As is true for almost all dogs (especially more active ones like me!), I will need a home with a yard where I can get lots of exercise and plenty of things to do (a “job” they call it!) to keep me from getting bored. If you can give me that, I’ll give you my love and loyalty for a long time to come.
