SCOOTER:  Purebred male Bassett Hound with AKC papers; 4 years old; 70 pounds. Has all shots and is neutered. The dog was acquired two years ago from a neighbor to keep his female Bassett company, but the female has started to fight with Scooter. He is housebroken, walks with his owner without a leash, has lived with cats at his former home. Scooter is good natured and gets along with children from 1 to 7 years old. He stays in the yard, is an inside/outside dog. He needs to be with someone who will give him attention and play with him.

CINDY LOU:  Miniature Poodle, female, 6 years, 20 pounds.  She has all of her shots and has been spayed.  She is fun loving, energetic, sweet, and loves companionship; she needs a low stress household.  Cindy Lou has Addison's disease and needs oral medicine every other day and an injection once per month.  She gets eye drops every day to control water issues.  She is crate trained.  She loves to be loved.  Her former owner is now in assisted living.  Her present foster is a veterinarian who would like to continue her medical care after she is adopted.  Cindy Lou is very much a dog worth loving as you will see when you meet her. Please call Cathie at 648-3738 or Andrea at 403-3685.

SUMMER:  (& WINTER)  We are 5 year old female Shepherd/Terrier mix (probably with different dads), up to date on all shots, and weigh 45-50 pounds. Our owner adopted us when we were only 9 months old. We are very well behaved, socialized, house- and crate-trained and are trained to sit, stay, and down. Now that he works nights we don't get much attention or exercise in our small yard. We get along well with other dogs, large and small, (cats are unknown), get along great with kids, and live with an active two year old who enjoys us, too. Summer is the most playful and Winter is more mellow, but we depend on each other so much that our owners feel we should be adopted together as companion house pets for the best success. Please call Chrissy at 520-909-9318 to make an appointment to meet us.
